the focuses of re-battery 2023

RE-BATTERY 2023 is Southern Europe’s largest international trade fair for the collection, sorting, processing and ‘reuse’ solutions of batteries, electric vehicles, e-mobility systems and e-waste.

The global market for battery recycling was valued at USD 10.21 billion in 2021, and it is anticipated to reach USD 18.96 billion by 2030 at a CAGR of 7.12%. WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and electrical waste is the world’s fastest growing waste stream: we accelerate towards a world filled with more batteries, electric vehicles, e-mobility systems and consumer electronics, with a continued growing trend towards green energy.

RE-BATTERY 2023 is the first event dedicated to industry professionals ever held in Italy and in Southern Europe and will showcase hundreds of exhibitors in the free-to-attend exhibition. Expert speakers from around the world will take part in the conference sessions, with over 1,500 participants expected.

Main topics discussed will include recycling technologies, materials recovery solutions, green electronics, sustainable materials, non-toxic substitutes and end-of-life / reuse strategies, as well as regulatory and business models to help reduce the environmental impact of all forms of consumer and industrial e-waste. RE-BATTERY 2023 will focus on lithium-ion batteries from e-mobility transportation, stationary applications, electric vehicles and e-mobility products, but also lead-acid batteries, e-waste from electronics,  PV panels, wearables, IoT, 5G and much more.

RE-BATTERY 2023 will bring together many globally renowned experts from consumer and industrial electronics manufacturers and recycling technology suppliers, e-waste recyclers and waste management companies, automotive, electric vehicles and battery makers and their value chain suppliers, critical raw materials experts, precious metal recovery experts, sustainable materials and chemicals suppliers, science and academia, policy-makers, NGOs, research institutions and consultants.
